Welcome to the 2017 paddling season!

Below you will find the Youth/Juniors practice schedule :-)


If you'd like to bring a friend please do, share the fun! A parent will need to sign your waiver. Waivers will be at Santa Clara or you can download from www.hanohano.com


Wear clothes that can get wet. For instance, a rash guard top and trunks or gym pants, no cotton please.

Wear rubber flip flops or water shoes for walking on the grass and shells.


Our practice at Mission Bay Sportscenter at Santa Clara Point will be from 10:30 to 11:30.

Parents please be at the beach at 11:30 to help put away the canoes. Be prepared to walk in sand :-)

Practice reminders and special race emails will be emailed to you.


Dues are $40 per paddler and $25 for each additional paddler in your family.

This includes all practices, a race jersey, and two races. Practice a few times to decide and then pay dues to Hanohano Canoe Club.

Practice Location:

1010 Santa Clara Place Mission Bay 92109.   North end of Santa Clara next to the Mission Bay Sports Center (OEX).

Practice Prep: 

Come prepared to get in the canoe wearing water clothes and shoes.  Please bring paddles andPFD/life vest (for ages 5-11) if you have the them,  sunscreen, drinking water, towel and warm clothes to change in to. Parents, please be prepared to help move boats if you are able.

Note:  Practices subject to change with advance notification to our email list of paddlers.

2017 Waivers 

These are required prior to getting in our canoes.  Please bring a parent to sign at your first practice.  An email with Waivers will be forwarded to our email lists prior to the first practices.

2017 Dues

Dues for the Youth are $50 per season and for the Keiki are $20 per season.  Discounts offered for additional family members.
